No place for roma?
Around 1,500 people (42% of them being moved by local authorities) live in the four distinct locations of the isolated and polluted area of Pata Rât. Day-by-day they suffer not only the effects of spatial segregation and substandard housing conditions, but also of racism and discrimination. This cause challenges local and national authorities, as well as fellow citizens of Cluj. Consequently, a series of three events will be organized on the occasion of observing two years from the eviction and relocation of Roma families from Coastei street to Pata Rât.
